About
Ina Edera is a contemporary artist whose practice weaves together themes of technology, trauma, and the human body through immersive, layered compositions. Originally from Germany and now based in Spain, Ina’s work began as a deeply personal response to a cancer diagnosis, which was a turning point, that reawakened her creative voice and revealed art as a path to seek connection and self-awareness.
With a background in the tech industry, she channels her experience of digital overexposure and overstimulation into a critical reflection on how accelerating technological environments distance us from our physical selves and roots. Her practice also engages with inherited trauma, mental health shaping society, while proposing a radical return to embodied awareness, care, and connection.
Through tactile materials, layered textures, and evocative sensory elements, Ina creates works that invite viewers to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and discover moments of presence and self-awareness amid the noise of contemporary life.
