This painting follows the story of a young woman who grew up in Bangladesh with her family. Early on, she perceives some limitations as to what a woman can achieve in life. Although her parents made it possible for her to take on a degree and study, entering work life was challenging as it required moving away and building independence, which culturally wasn't accepted due to her gender. It took a long journey of building resilience for her to actually build the life that she wants, and she now works successfully in informatics.
