Having Tea
This story is a very personal one of me witnessing my mother and daughter in the garden of my childhood home. It made me realise how much the natural surroundings are part of my sense of belonging. As a child, I spent hours in nature playing with moss and stones, cooking giant stews with leaves and soil. Raising my daughters in a cityscape, in their early years, I soon felt uneasy and could only connect with a sense of belonging by creating a home that provided us more access to nature, even if it was through a artifically composed garden, but using Mediterranean plants.
